20 June ‘10:

I woke up at around 6am when I actually slept at 4am. Just to rush finish the remaining boards for the boys. Met up with Jenies at bus-stop before taking 53 to the airport.
Reached the airport and found a spot to stay at while waiting for Mag and the rest of the girls who will be joining us for chasing. They arrived at around 11am or so, I think. Crowd wasn’t really crazy, guess most people are actually at IMM queuing for their fan-meet. Got to saw the boys so up-close! (video available)

Chased all the way to the hotel and they came out one by one from the mini-bus. (video available). Waited in our van + at the hotel lobby for quite a long time before we decided that we should just head straight to IMM to wait for the boys instead. So off we went and glad that there’s a barricade to separate VVIPs from VIPs. The time came and the boys arrived. Crowd went crazy and for that one moment, my ear seems like it’s going to be experiencing some listening problems.

Radio 100.3 DJ Ken interviewed them and we shouted ‘안녕하세요, welcome to Singapore’ to the boys. Then we also shouted ‘사랑해요, *muacks*’ with the hand going out like a flying kiss to them. They’re shocked by it and send the flying kiss back to us, haha. DJ taught them a new language, Singlish! Kevin went ‘Ok LAH ~’ with the o.k hand-sign! Then I forgot what the rest of the boys said, lol. (video available). Fan-sign started. Me, Mag and Cheryl waited for quite some time before we went to queue to get our album signed. After the staffs checked our tickets and album, I pressed the camera button on my phone and started recording. Yes, I hanged my phone around my neck and recorded it throughout.

When it’s my turn, I went up and passed 동호 the board I made. He looked at it and said ‘oh thank you’ haha. And that is quite cute. Next is Eli! Quite unlucky ‘cause when it’s Eli’s turn, my phone sort of flipped by itself ): But he’s actually also quite shocked at the board I did! Then it’s 기섭’s turn and he was also shocked at the board! Hehe. 기범’s turn and when he saw the board he’s somewhat happy and I love his voice when he said ‘thank you’ to me, hehe. Then it’s Xander’s turn and after I took out the board and passed to him, he took a look at it and said ‘that’s nice. Thank you’ and really, you could feel his sincerity while he is saying those words. It’s Kevin’s turn and when he saw the board he went ‘wow! Thank you’ which is so cute! And he is really skinny! Lastly, it’s 수현’s turn! When he saw the board, he looked at it went ‘wow’ signed on my album and said ‘omg I love you so much’ which shocked me. So I went, ‘I love you’ and he said back to me ‘I love you too’ OMG! (this is the moment which converted me from all 7 member favorites to 수현 bias!)

After the fan-sign they headed straight to Sheng Siong Show. So we went there and queue as well. It’s a good timing that we queued at that timing ‘cause just when we went in, the seats in front are actually open and we just chionged like nobody’s business! Jumped down from seats and we got seated together. Our view was great and kissmeSG are really sporting people ^^ we even cheered for those contestants when they’re performing! Even the hosts of the show praised us, hehe. They had to raise their mic volumes ‘cause our screams was really 대박! After everything ended we chased back to the hotel and ta-dah. End of D-1 with U-Kiss!

21 June ’10:

Woke up at a later timing compared to D-1 and meet up with Mag at White Sands before heading down to the hotel. Headed off to ION to buy stuffs which Mag need to do Xander’s board. And we actually shared a packet of Hershey’s Kisses chocolates for the boys. Bought donuts as breakfast while on our way to the hotel. Arrived at the hotel and there’s actually some fans there. Out of boredom, we just went to the mall which is linked to the hotel and went to the subway to have a seat. Ate our donuts and drank coke. Slacked for awhile at subway and we decided to go back to the hotel. Was actually deciding to go by the front entrance or just go by the second level. Ended up walking through the front entrance to the hotel. We’re just in time when we reached the lobby ‘cause fans are already standing outside and that means the boys are coming out soon. Saw Jenies and Elaine there as well. I’m the one in-charge of passing the chocolates to ONE of the boys and before that, Mag was teasing me with Soohyun ~

When the boys appeared, I don’t know for what reason, I really ended up giving the chocolates to Soohyun! And the way he said ‘thank you’ to me is cute. It was also a very last minute decision to chase them, lol. End up Uncle Eric got to rush down to fetch us! They were headed to St James Power Station for rehearsal. So, me and Mag got down the van to get our numbers. But who knows, last minute one of the admin said that there will be no more queue numbers given. So, we got to queue and recognize the people infront and behind us to prevent late-comers from cutting queue. So ended up we can’t get back inside the van to wait, got to wait under the scorching hot sun.

While waiting, we actually made friends with the people behind us. But the weird thing is, I didn’t know their friends (one of them named Vanessa) was actually the ‘mastermind girl’ that Jenies told me regarding SHINee. Anyway, queued for hours and while queuing, Mag started doing her Xander board. Realized we actually got sunburnt, lol. Ironic huh? That shows how bright the sun is burning!

For a moment, the queue for VVIP was quite messed up. And there’s this admin who is actually really quite patient in answering our enquiries. Kudos to her! After that, we started going in and we got the side view, with lesser people and nobody infront of us blocking our view. One good thing that I noticed at the start is that their water bottles and towels are placed at the side as well, so when they want to drink water or what, they’ll definitely head towards us!

Radio 100.3 DJ Ken make us happy for nothing by appearing on stage and talking to us for awhile, then went down again saying ‘the next time I appear again, that means U-Kiss has arrived!’ haha. Took pictures of the stage and the crowds.

Finally, the time for them to appear on stage has come! Their first song is 빙글빙글! But there’s a slight technical error and the sound system actually plays 만만하니, lol. Saw 기범 turning back to smile when he realized the error, haha. The right song has played and the crowd just went crazy! Had some talks and all and they also performed two of their ’08 songs ‘Talk to Me’ and ‘니가 줗아’ together with 기섭! While they’re performing ‘니가 줗아’ there’s one part where they split into two to do the side walk. And just nice 수현, 기범 and Eli was heading towards our direction and looked into my camera! How I love that moment so much! They also performed other songs like ‘뭐라고’ , ‘End of the Road’ and ‘만만하니’ as the last song. A pity the stupid memory card is full and I didn’t get to record the full thing for 만만하니!

Didn’t expect the showcase to end earlier than expected. End up Uncle Eric got to rush down to fetch us again. They headed to BTH Centre and we waited outside the gate. Had a talk with Jenies regarding family, work and U-Kiss. Then we touched on the topic about fate, saying that if I’m fated to see them then I will. ‘cause they’ll definitely come to Singapore again. Then when our talk ended, the Eli-hyung guy suddenly shouted ‘ELI HYUNG’ loudly. Thought he was crazy but OMG! Talking about fate, just nice the boys came out of the centre and we’re screaming as well.

Talking about the Eli-hyung guy, he’s actually a talking topic among us! He’s like damn crazy over Eli? And at the BTH Centre, due to his short height, he took a chair he brought along with him and stand there with a piece of paper with the words ‘Eli hyung’ written on it!

Back to topic. From the BTH Centre, they’re headed towards the Singapore Press Holding for the radio interview with 100.3! then our van was damn lucky to be behind their van! 수현 and Eli kept looking behind and they’re really kind to ask the other members to greet us when we showed the different members’ boards. A pity there’s no Kevin and Dongho’s board, lol. Then there’s one moment, Elaine showed the ‘Eli I love ya’ board and Eli peeled off one ‘Kiss-Me’ sticker, kissed it and placed on the back of the van to let us see! And there’s this very special moment for me, whereby I did a heart-shape to 수현 when he’s looking back and when he saw it, he actually did the heart-shape back to me! That moment is really damn epic that I cried a little.

After reaching the destination, we started doing boards for Kevin and Dongho. Then in our van, no one actually SMS in for a chance to get called up by the members, lol. Other vans were screaming that we could actually hear ‘cause like obviously, one of them inside the vans got picked right? Lol. And the Eli-hyung guy actually got picked as well, OMO!

After the whole interview thing, our van lost them ‘cause there’s a traffic police driving us away. Ended up we went back to the hotel to wait for them. Total chaos at the hotel when they came out of their van. Fans were pushing and screaming! And yes, some of the boys got hurt. Those fans really… I hope the boys are alright. Was damn pissed after the boys actually went up to their room. Where’s the concern for their safety gone to? Anyway, Uncle Eric dropped me, Jenies, Mag and Vanessa at Rivervale Mall and we cabbed back home. End of D-2 with U-Kiss!

22 June ’10:

After knowing that they’re only going back on the 22nd night, me and Jenies met up quite early and headed to the hotel. Met with Elaine near the hotel and we went up to the 2nd floor of the hotel. Sat at the sofa and we started to do our letters for them. I wrote for each and every member, but I think it’s quite obvious that my bias is 수현 just by looking at his letter length compared to the other members.

Rushed up to 17th floor through climbing the stairs and yes, I knew where they stay at. But we didn’t disturb them, knock on their doors or anything. Perhaps they’re still sleeping. Instead, we just walked past their room and took the lift down. At that time, I’m thinking even if I didn’t get to see them or slot the letters under their room doors, at least I’ve overcome 17 flight of stairs just for them. That is one accomplishment for me, ‘cause just climbing 10 flight of stairs to reach my house is already unbearable for me.

Anyway, after that we headed to the swimming pool and played chess with Jenies. After which we walked around and Elaine decided to go to the toilet. Headed to the mall’s toilet and without using it, she came out ‘cause it’s quite dirty. Then we’re thinking where to go and we stopped at the escalator going downwards. Just then, a group of girls came rushing out and followed by 수현 and his manager! Both are actually running towards our direction! I was seriously shocked at that time and only moved when Elaine said to move. The whole escalator at that time only had me, Jenies, Elaine, the manager and 수현! Wanted to try my luck pass him the letters but yeah, he got to rush to ION so he said ‘so sorry’ in a cute way. People must be thinking I might feel rejected, but no. I can understand why he didn’t accept the letters yet. Then we’re still so calm even after they’re gone. And those girls watching from the top seems jealous of us? And those at the subway actually chased after them! Lucky 수현 and the manager ran quite fast that the fans lost them!

Headed back to the 2nd level sofa to sit. Then after 1 and half hours, they came back. The manager was actually standing infront of me, yet I didn’t know. It took my brain few seconds to recognize who is he! Starting when I saw him infront of me, my mind is thinking ‘who is this guy? Looks so familiar.’ Then it struck me that he’s the manager -.- after that, 수현 appeared and walked calmly towards the lift. I was shocked and lucky I managed to call him in time! Then he turned back and I handed the letters to him. He took it and said ‘oh, thank you’ and it just made me feel so happy. I don’t know why at that time the letters are just nice on my hands. I didn’t know that they would be back so soon, but I just took out the letters from my bag minutes before they came back.

Oh, then I realized I forgotten to pass the disc that I had prepared in a rush this morning to him! So all I’m left with is the chance when they are going to leave the hotel. Time passed by and there’s news that Kevin and Xander actually went to ION. ‘cause Kevin tweeted regarding their location and fans were rushing to ION and I heard some fans even threw fan-letters at them! When I knew about this, I was thinking ‘why must Kevin tweet about their location?’ ‘cause this is sure to happen if he tweets about where he is in Singapore!

Anyway, after some time, we headed down to the lobby ‘cause the boys are getting ready to leave the hotel. Then waited and lucky this time the fans are more composed and didn’t push much. Tried to pass the cd to either of the members and I managed to pass it to 기범! Well, I actually wanted to try passing to 기섭 but his hands were like so full. Then while walking along with them, I rested my hand (the one holding the disc) on one of the guard/hotel staff’s arm. Just nice, it’s between 기섭 and 기범 so seeing that 기섭’s hands are full, I just got to pin my hopes on 기범! When he saw the disc, he looked at me, smiled and took the disc. At that time when he touched the disc and looked at me, I was stunned and smiled back before letting go of the disc, haha.

Also last minute decision to chase and they headed to Long Beach to eat. Was kind of slack while waiting for the boys to eat finish. After they’ve eaten finish, they’re headed straight to the airport. And during the whole journey, they didn’t open their curtains at all. So end up we just head straight to the airport. Starting the crowd seems quite composed. But little did I expect that another chaos happened.

When they appeared, everybody started screaming and pushing AGAIN! It’s far worse than the one which happened at the hotel! And being the kind idols they are, they kept asking the fans not to push. And I hope that 수현’s back injury ain’t hurting ‘cause of all the pushing going on. Lots of fans fell, and I almost fell as well. They stopped to try to help the fans up but yeah, they got to keep going if not the crowd will get wilder.

When they went inside the departure hall, they did one very precious thing which touched my heart deeply, one which made me cry. They stood in one line together and bowed to us. It’s really a very rare sight for idols to bow to their fans y’know. And while they are queuing to get their passports checked, they also waved to us. So yeah, that sums up all that has happened. End of D-3/last day with U-Kiss!
